PROJECT: GALAXY S26 ULTRA SPOTLIGHT

BRIEF: Create an animation that features the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and how it lives in my own creative world. With this in mind I was inspired by a series of photographs I took on my last trip to Japan, where I found myself regularly focusing on beautiful yet simple details. The animation itself uses a unique combination of realistic and illustrated ‘toon’ style shading, something I also felt was appropriate for Japan. This concept references many ideas that are personal to me, my ‘real’ photography work and my playful ‘un-real’ animation work and how they inter-twine, as well as how we capture simple moments on our phones and how they are ‘brought to life’.
